Betta Reflective Acoustic Barrier For Residential Areas
The Betta Acoustic Barrier is well suited for a rural, residential situation, sheltering the houses from traffic noise nuisance.
The barrier consisted of galvanised steel universal posts with softwood timber pressure treated Tanalith E green.
Other options for the barrier would have been galvanised and powder coated posts, colour to clients choice, or the posts timber clad. The pressure treatment could have been Tanalith E brown.
The standard Betta Reflective Acoustic Barrier, during laboratory tests, was given a sound insulation rate of 20 dB and classified as category B2 in accordance with BS EN 1793-2:1998.
The photograph shows a 2.0 metre high barrier but It should be noted that the Betta Group can design and install any height of Barrier to meet a client's need.
